We hired Larson Construction for a significant upgrade to our home, including the installation of new windows throughout the house and two doors. Our experience with Joe, who provided the initial estimate, was promising, and the installation team was genuinely nice and professional during their time on site. The project involved standard door replacement and a more complex job of cutting into concrete to install another door, both of which were handled well initially. However, our positive experience took a turn when the glass in our hurricane-rated door cracked unexpectedly. Given the safety and weather protection concerns, we immediately reached out to Larson Construction for a resolution. We also mentioned that the hinges that we had paid extra for were already rusting. Despite their initial assurances of prompt service, our requests for repair have been met with repeated delays and unfulfilled promises. It's been three years since the incident, and the issue remains unresolved. While we appreciated the courteousness of the staff and the quality of the initial installation, the lack of follow-through on customer service and support has been deeply disappointing. For a project as critical as hurricane protection in a home, the reliability and responsiveness of the service provider are paramount. Unfortunately, Larson Construction has not met these expectations in our case. We hope that by sharing our experience, Larson Construction will take steps to improve their customer service and follow-up. Future customers should be aware of our experience and consider it when making their choice.
